Timberland Federal Credit Union

Project
Timberland FCU has been serving the communities of northern Pennsylvania with roots as deep as the surrounding forests. The Pleasant Gap branch had grown outdated and was ready for a fresh, modern transformation, but the credit union remained committed to preserving key features of the building to honor its history.

PWCampbell developed a design that maintained the footprint, key architectural features, and the vault of the existing branch. The new design includes a large lighted logo on an architectural wall at the front of the building. The vault was transformed into a common area with chairs and refreshments. Glass walls separate the meeting room and offices from the lobby allowing the rich wood walls to be seen from across the branch. The credit union and its members enjoy the new functionality and updated style that honors the history of the area and the credit union.
