May 1, 2023 – Studio 109 Designs, LLC, PWCampbell’s full-service architecture firm, is pleased to announce that Rob Zoelle, RA, LEED AP, has joined the company as Design Architect.
Zoelle has a Bachelor of Architecture and Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture from Kent State University in Ohio. In addition to his extensive education, he also has more than ten years of experience in the design and construction industry working alongside and learning from many talented architects, engineers, and contractors.
Most recently, Rob was employed at Margittai Architects where he advanced from his initial role as Junior Architect to Senior Architect to Director of Operations. During his tenure there, Rob was the recipient of multiple awards for his design projects including several from the AIA Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania Historic Preservation Construction Award and Pittsburgh Magazine for Best Renovated Home. He played an integral role in establishing benchmarks, guidelines, and standards by which the firm’s efficiency and effectiveness could be evaluated.
As Design Architect for PWCampbell/Studio 109 Designs, Rob will put his talents to work helping clients bring their architectural visions to life. His primary responsibilities will include programming analysis that leads to preliminary floor plans, space plans and site plans that optimize every inch of building space. His technical knowledge of construction processes, zoning and building codes, building materials, along with an artistic aesthetic, will enable him to transform concepts into functional environments that integrate engineering elements with unique design solutions.
