We are seeking to add a talented Interior Designer – Branded Environments in our Greater Philadelphia office.

This position, in our Branded Environments Division, is a multi-disciplinary role that would require blending artistic ability with technical knowledge to develop and design dynamic environments for top US banks. This role uniquely combines interior design expertise and principles with graphic design skills to ultimately implement our client’s two-dimensional brand into their three-dimensional physical space.

The ideal candidate would be a positive professional with strong interpersonal skills as this position requires significant interaction with high-level clients including company CEOs, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Strategy Officers and other C-Level suite executives. This person should be self-motivated, collaborative and an innovative designer who is passionate about creating unique spaces and design solutions. 3D renderings will be used to communicate interior layouts, architectural finishes, and branding concepts to the client.

Job Description

  • Work with Account Executive and client’s team to develop a design solution that conveys their brand in the physical environment; including but not limited to interior layouts, finish selections, furniture design and graphic branding concepts.
  • Understand the importance of brand and client’s brand initiatives.
  • Deliver industry leading designs concepts that are not only thoughtful and functional but beautiful spaces that are consistent with current trends.
  • Lead project team through design implementation.
  • Obtain, absorb, and synthesize complex branding requirements from clients and Account Managers.
  • Depict design ideas into 3D model spaces and render concepts in industry recognized design platforms.
  • Present 3D rendered design concepts to executive level management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, interior architecture, or related field and/or demonstrated similar or related industry background in this area/s.
  • Five years’ or more experience in interior design, branded environments, exhibit designs or related field.
  • Proficiency in one or more recognized design, drafting and rendering platforms: Revit, AutoCADD, Sketchup, Formz, Enscape.
  • Graphic design experience, capability and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • 3D rendering capability to depict design solutions including interior details, finishes, branding elements, marketing fixtures and merchandising systems.
  • Strong design sense and aesthetics
  • Knowledge of space layout, furnishings, and finishes
  • Able to multi-task design initiatives, presentation, material selection and production work.
  • Must be comfortable following directions and implementing changes.
  • Must be able to balance excellent design with meeting deadlines.
  • Occasionally, it may be required to travel to job sites in various states with overnight stays.
