Below are examples of a few of PWCampbell’s recent endeavors:

  • ABA Habitat for Humanity: Each year our representatives volunteer for a Habitat for Humanity project sponsored by the American Bankers Association at their annual convention.

 

 

  • Stuff a Bus: Each year we partner with a local charity This year PWCampbell employees supported local radio station KISS 96.1 and their “Stuff a Bus” toy drive. This annual event provides gifts for underprivileged children during the holidays. Our employees purchased toys, games and clothing to donate to this worthwhile cause and we’re proud to say that our contributions filled five seats on one of the school busses used for the event!

 

 

  • Pittsburgh Cares—Millvale Library Project
    Almost 20 staff members of all levels of ability volunteered to help renovate an abandoned      older building, which will house the first-ever Millvale Public Library.  The PWCampbell crew was able to make a huge contribution to the job by completing such tasks as demolishing existing walls and staircases, installing a door, hanging drywall, gardening, and building brick walls to fill empty basement window spaces.  We were proud to help with this project for a community that has been hit by serious flooding three times in recent years.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PWCampbell strives to make a positive impact, no matter how big or small.

  • We donate usable, scrap paper to local schools for student art projects.   
  • We donated the many greeting cards received during the holiday season to the St. Jude’s Ranch, where they are recycled and made into new cards.
  • In recognition of National Hunger Awareness Day in June, we organized a food drive in which employees collected non-perishable items to donate to the local food bank.                                                           

 PWCampbell is more than a business; we are a viable, contributing member of our community and have been for 100 years.
